International Day against Homophobia, Biphobia and Transphobia – actions we can take to build hope

In our current climate, the International Day Against Homophobia, Biphobia and Transphobia (IDAHoBiT) feels more important than ever before.

From government policy to rises in transphobia – there have been a lot of occasions this year when we’ve been left feeling frustrated and fearful for the future of the LGBTQ+ community.

Sometimes the best we can do is sit with those emotions and then when we’re ready – take the best steps we can to make change. We’ve put together a couple of things you can write to your MP about right now.

Sometimes it can feel hopeless when you login to Twitter and find yourself faced with another series of attacks on the community – but by continuing to come together, accepting one another and ensuring our voices are heard, we can and will make change.
