A little piece of our heart was an intergenerational LGBTQIA+ storytelling project created in collaboration with young people from The Proud Trust.
Created for Manchester Pride, A little piece of our Heart was an audio and film based project which encouraged intergenerational story sharing within Greater Manchester’s LGBTQIA+ community.
Young people from The Proud Trust conducted social interviews with elder members of the local LGBTQIA+ community to create a love and community themed audio story book. The stories were edited together and portably distributed by the young people to attendees of Manchester Pride on MP3 players. The video was launched with a screening at the festival.
