We offer a range of professional development workshops and one-to-one training and mentoring for artists and young people.
We offer professional development workshops for artists and students, no matter what stage of their career. Each workshop is completely adaptable and can be combined to create bespoke workshops. We’ve delivered workshops for organisations including Arts Council England, artsdepot, Oldham Coliseum, University of Salford, Royal Birmingham Conservatoire, Wild Rumpus and MAC Birmingham.
Alongside one-off workshops, we regularly provide one-to-one training and industry mentoring for artists, facilitators and young people across a range of areas, including producing, marketing, audience development, writing and applied theatre.

Around four times a year we fill up the kettle, stock up on biscuits and open our studio doors for any artists or companies in need of an ear, a hand, or a spot of advice. From one-to-one conversations to guest workshops, everything is completely free or pay-what-you-can. Past workshops include: An introduction to working with deaf performers with Alexandra James and Meaningful audience engagement with Sharon Raymond.

We’ve been working nationally for over a decade, and sharing knowledge is an importantpart of what we do. From delivering workshops on producing and fundraising, through to more creative workshops in writing and devising, we’ve created a menu that suits artists at all stages in their career. Choose from existing workshops, create bespoke ones – and combine them to make sure they’re relevant and useful for your participants. All of our workshops can be run either in person or online.
